The City Clerk's Office has the responsibility to prepare City Council agenda packets, review staff reports and maintain minutes for all City Council and City of Livingston Redevelopment Agency meetings.

The Deputy City Clerk is responsible to serve as the filing officer for Fair Political Practices Commission forms and preparation of City Council meeting materials, public notices.  The Deputy City Clerk coordinates the flow of business and documents to and from the City Council, department heads, and senior City staff.  The Deputy City Clerk also maintains the City’s official records (including maintenance and update of the Livingston Code), administers the City records retention program, and provides support services to the City Manager and City Council.
