CITIZENS OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE (seven (7) members)

Citizens Oversight Committee (COC) for Measure L is to ensure that all revenues received from the voter-approved Transaction and Use Tax are spent only on permissible uses.. The committee will review financial and performance audits. The committee will also prepare an annual report to inform the public how measure funds were spent. Qualifications
Each member of the Committee shall: 

 1. Be at least 18 years of age. 

 2. Reside in the City of Livingston or own a business within the City of Livingston but not be a resident of the City themselves. 

 3. Member may not be an officer or employee of the City.

 4. At least one committee member shall have a financial or accounting background.

 5. Representation from the following areas will be prioritized:

  • A) Small Business
  • B) Educational Institutions
  • C) Medical Institutions
  • D) Public Safety
  • E) Senior Citizen Representative
  • F) Community Coalitions
