The Livingston Police Department works in conjunction with Livingston High School on the annual Sober Graduation Night.
Since it’s inception over thirty five years ago in Merced County, there have been no fatal accidents on graduation night involving graduating students. This program has been one of the most successful events brought into the schools to provide an safe alternative for our young adults on graduation night.
Sober Graduation Event for 2025 was a huge success with a large amount of student participation. The atmosphere made the night’s event both enjoyable and relaxing. The Police Department sponsored Bingo; where over $1,000 in prizes were given away throughout the evening.
City staff, Livingston High School staff, and California Highway Patrol were among many that made this valuable program a success. Livingston Police Department supports and commends the efforts of the many volunteers who give of their time to make this annual event a success.
