Sober Graduation Night

The Livingston Police Department works in conjunction with Livingston High School on the annual Sober Graduation Night.

Since it’s inception almost twenty five years ago in Merced County, there have been no fatal accidents on graduation night involving graduating students. This program has been one of the most successful events brought into the schools to provide an safe alternative for our young adults on graduation night.

Sober Graduation Event for 2006 was held in the atmosphere of the old west. The atmosphere made the night’s event both enjoyable and relaxing. The Police Department sponsored Bingo; where over $2,000 in prizes were given away throughout the evening.

City staff, Livingston High School staff, and California Highway Patrol the were among many that made this valuable program a success.  Livingston Police Department supports and commends the efforts of the many volunteers who give of their time to make this annual event a success.
