How To Become A Contract Instructor

If you have a talent or skill that you would like to teach the community the Livingston Recreation Department may be able to assist you.

The First step is to contact the Recreation Department. We will set up a meeting with you to talk with you about the class you would like to teach. A packet of information will be completed which includes a resume, lesson plans and fee worksheet. A background check is done on all of our instructors and a plan is put into place on starting the class. Most contracts are done on a 70/30 split and the recreation department assists with promotion, facilities and enrollement.
