Flag Football

2024 is the first year that the recreation department is introducing Flag Football for boys and girls ages 6 to 17 years of age. Flag football is a non-contact form of American football. Each team has seven players, and the format prioritizes speed, creativity, and athleticism. This year the focus is on fundamentals and the model is 1 hour of practices and then 1 hour of game play. The program is 5 weeks held each Friday beginning February 23 and ends March 22 at the Max Foster Sports Complex.

Practices begin at 5pm and ends at 7pm each Friday. Each age group practices together and then coaches divide the group into teams for the game play. Age divisions are as follows:

6-7 years, 8-9 years, 10-11 years and 12-15 years. With the assistance from the Livingston High School Football Team we have a great coaching staff.
