Each Year the Sweet Potato Festival hosts 3 different contest for the kids and adults.

#1 Sweet Potato Moe Coloring Contest open to  kids 2 years to 13 years of age

#2 Dress Your Tater Contest open to  kids 2 years to 100 years of age

#3 Sweet Potato Pie Eating Contest offered each day for adults 18 years and up.
