Learn the basics of Folklorico Dance! This semester-based class explores diverse Mexican dance styles, blending Pre-Hispanic, European, among other influences. Students will perform dances from Jalisco and Sinaloa, learning regional characteristics and adopting health practices like warm-ups and stretching to promote lifelong well-being.
Instructor Angelita Moran, has been dancing with passion Mexican Folklore Dance and is an ambassador of her culture. She has been teaching and directing Folklorico locally and has amazing organizational skills! This class will be a wonderful program to add to your child's cultural knowledge of Mexico.
This class will meet 1 time per week at the Child Care Center at 2600 Walnut Avenue at 6pm on Tuesdays (Spring/Summer Semester 2026) This is an ongoing class and students may join at anytime. Ages 6 - 17years. The fee is $45 per month for 4 classes per month. There is no prorating classes. Be sure to get registered for the new session!
